Exchange programs in Uruguay

How to apply

If you are an exchange student from one of our partner universities you must be nominated by your international office before submitting your application.

Nominations must be sent by email and include:

  • The student's name and last name
  • Degree sought at the home university
  • The student's email address

After receiving your nomination the Student Exchange Office at Universidad ORT Uruguay is going to send you an email with the application form and all relevant information regarding the application process.

The following additional documents must be submitted:

  • Academic transcript
  • Proof of intermediate Spanish competence
  • Passport or ID card
  • International health insurance (can be handed in, on arrival)

Applicants for exchanges within the graduate programs of the School of Management and Social Sciences should also submit:

  • Proof of work experience/internships
  • GMAT score (minimum 500)
  • University statement that the student belongs to the top 25% of his/her generation (should you not have three years of professional work experience)
