Language requirements

All courses are taught in Spanish, which is why all international non degree-seeking students are required to prove their intermediate language competence in Spanish, equivalent to the levels B1 and B2 of the Common European Framework of Refrence for Languages (CEFR).

If you wish to apply for linguistics or writing courses, as well as those offered within the field of journalism, you are required to have an advanced level of Spanish (level C1/C2, CEFR)

Language competence can be proved by submitting one of the following documents:

  • Spanish teacher statement about the student’s language proficiency (must be accompanied by the course syllabus of the last Spanish unit taken).
  • DELE certificate, or similar.
